Francesco Piazzesi, director of mortgage Check your house, was named Social Entrepreneur of the Year by the World Economic Forum (WEF, for its acronym in English).

The awards were presented by Klaus Schwab, WEF founder and Mirjam Schoening, director of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, after the opening plenary.
Hilde Schwab, president of the Schwab Foundation, said: "While we lay the groundwork for the decade of growth in Latin America, the role of social entrepreneurs to facilitate the conditions for growth and ensure that people forget during development process is even more important. "
Meanwhile, the founder of the WEF said the distinguished entrepreneurs are critical to the future of the continent and to improve the state of the world.
